I will not be returning to the encore.Ī 3, the room was clean, as it should have been. I was VERY upset and not impressed with the service or the attitude of the staff.

We still had to pay full price and they gave us no compensation. I then spoke to 5 different workers/managers when they finally were able to recheck and scan our IDs, brought us to the bar and gave the bartenders the ok for us to order a drink. We explained to the manager that I was able to get into the casino, drink at their restaurant, spend money at the tables however I am not able to order a drink on New Year’s Eve? They shut us down and we walked away very upset. I however did not have my passport on me.

Everyone else gave their drivers license, however my Canadian drivers license was not suffice. When she finally came to serve me, and asked for my ID she said I needed to give her my passport.

Everyone at the bar had to give their ID cards when ordering a drink. I waited at the bar for a very long time. I decided to order a drink at the bar instead (even though I would have to pay for it when the waiters were serving them for free). When finally finding one, we were completely ignored. When we wanted to order a drink, there were no waiters or waitresses in sight. We played on the slots machines and at the tables. We ate at one of their restaurants and ordered drinks throughout our dinner. Our drivers licenses were scanned when entering the casino. I went for New Year’s Eve with some friends. I am VERY disappointed with my experience at the encore. Except for the alcohol, what arrived could have been put in a baby bottle and fed to your two month old. My lunch partner ordered a Bloody Mary with specific instructions: 'I like it spicy'. The surroundings are great, the servers fine, but go for a cup of coffee instead of a meal.

Service was fine although I might suggest the servers actually eat the offerings and honestly critique them if only to assist the cook. Perhaps to make it look like more than it was? The presentation of the Poke was unique in that it was sized and shaped like a hockey puck but it worked. And I never figured why they put the salad on top of whole leaves of Romaine. I had an Asian salad but the salad tzar must have decided that half a teaspoon of dressing would be more than enough to satisfy the most discriminating of patrons. When both diners order a different dish and say simultaneously: 'Pretty enough but where is the taste?' you know something is wrong.
